Do I Need a Visa for Vietnam?
Yes, you will need a visa to enter Vietnam. Visas can be acquired by an in-person visit, mail or online application.
Visa lengths can range from one month to one year, depending on the needs of the traveler.
You must complete the visa application process with all the correct documents, which vary depending on the solicited visa. Visas require, at minimum, two days to process.

What Do I Need for a Vietnam Visa Application?
Countries often require different items for different visas. The application process may differ depending on the type of visa you’re interested in obtaining.
Applicants for a Vietnam visa will require: a passport, a passport photo, a completed visa application, and flight information.
Tourist and business visas can range from single entry one-month visas to one-year multiple entry visas and it is recommended you double check all documents before applying. The easiest way to apply for a visa is online.
Visas are valid from the date of entry listed on the visa until the expiration date on the visa.
Each one of these items have specific requirements that must be met. Do note, these requirements can change quickly and may differ based on your specific situation.

Are Any Vaccines Required for Vietnam?
Vietnam does not currently require vaccination for entry. But, some immunizations are recommended.
Hepatitis A, Japanese encephalitis and typhoid vaccinations are commonly recommended for travelers to Vietnam. Rabies and chikungunya vaccinations may be recommended based on your itinerary and immunization history.
