What Do I Need for a Kenya Visa Application?
Countries often require different items for different types of visas. The application process may differ depending on the type of visa you’re interested in obtaining. The government of Kenya reserves the right to change these requirements at any time. Make sure you have everything ready for your trip.
Most visas for Kenya require a passport photo, completed questionnaire and flight itinerary.
Kenya has an agreement with Tanzania and Uganda in which no re-entry fees are needed if you are traveling within these three countries. Your single-entry visa must still be valid.
The Kenya government may change this process at any time and is allowed to request additional materials during the visa process.
How Can Passport Health Help Me With the Visa Process?
Passport Health has partnered with industry leaders in travel document services, RushMyPassport and G3 Travel Services. These teams will walk you through the visa process step-by-step and handle the sometimes difficult communication with embassies and consulates.
How Much Do Kenya Visas Cost?
The price of visas are set by the local government and can be changed at any time. Visas for Kenya often cost over $150. This fee does not include the cost of postage, service fees or other associated items. The Kenyan government can change the visa fee amount at any time.
East Africa Tourist visas are filed for separately.
Are Any Vaccines Required for Kenya?
Proof of yellow fever vaccination is required for all travelers over one-year of age arriving from a country with a risk of yellow fever. The vaccination is also recommended for almost all travelers.
Travelers may consider typhoid and other vaccinations based on their specific itinerary. For more vaccination information, see our Kenya destination advice page.
