Do I Need a Visa for Ghana?
A visa is required for entry to Ghana for all American citizens.
The Ghanan government can change visa requirements at any time. It is best to use a travel documents service to make sure everything is prepared for your trip.
Proof of yellow fever vaccination is also required as part of the entry process.

What Do I Need for a Ghana Visa Application?
Depending on the type of visa you need for you travel, different documents will be necessary. Proof of yellow fever vaccination is required for all travelers.
Documents needed are subject to change at any point. The Ghanaian government may request other documents as necessary.
A valid passport, two passport-style photos and a flight itinerary are needed to receive a visa. Other items may also be required depending on the purpose of travel.

A yellow fever vaccination is required for all travelers visiting Ghana over the age of nine months.
