Do I Need a Visa for Ethiopia?
Tourist and business visas are required for travel to Ethiopia. Travelers can also obtain a visa online (e-visa) on the Main Department for Immigration and Nationality Affairs website. A passport with 6 months validity is also required to get into the country.

What Do I Need for an Ethiopia Visa Application?
You will need your passport, passport photo, completed visa application form, proof of travel arrangements, letter of invitation, and a business letter to obtain a tourist or business visa.

Travelers visiting for tourism must have a visa. The following items must be submitted along with a completed application.
Passport:
- Must be original and signed
- 6 months validity
- Must have a blank page for entry stamp
Photographs:
- Has to be 2×2 inches
- Color picture with a plain background
Proof of Travel:
- Flight itinerary
- Copy of airline ticket showing entry and exit from Ethiopia

- Has to have the host’s contact info
Business Letter:
- Must be from your employer/sponsor
- Written on company letterhead and includes the introduction of applicant
- Employment and status in the company as well as purpose of visit to Ethiopia
- Must also include who is responsible financially for the applicant and
- Contact info in Ethiopia
There are other types of visas travelers can apply for. Transit, NGO and Work visas are some of the visas people can obtain as well as Diplomatic/Official and Missionary visas.

Are Any Vaccines Required for Ethiopia?
