While some of these services are specifically for travelers that could be spending a prolonged time overseas, others are simply to help keep you, your family or your co-workers healthy. Our associates have a significant amount of experience in preventive medicine. From preventing infectious diseases in the far corners of the world to reducing cholesterol closer to home, our medical professionals take the time to provide the highest standard of care.
Vaccination Clinic Services
Flu season may only be in the public’s eye a couple months out of the year, but at Passport Health we plan for it year around. We begin in early January planning our vaccine purchase, then monitor the manufacturing process from all of the major manufacturers. If there are delays or some other issue, we know it sooner than most. As a network of over 240 offices nationwide, we work together to make sure we have the vaccine we need, when we need it.
If you plan a flu clinic with Passport Health, we can deliver. We are one of the few health providers to have met all of our obligations over the last several years. We stay in constant communication with you to make sure you are up to date on our progress. And, we always bring additional doses, should you have more attendees than expected. Also, we have Flu Mist, the nasal spray version of the flu vaccine, if requested.
We can also bring to the flu clinic or do specific clinics for Tetanus, Hepatitis B or Pneumonia on site, which is highly recommended by the CDC for those over 50 years of age. as well as, Flu Mist, the nasal spray version of the flu vaccine, if requested. We encourage you to invite family and friends to your clinics, especially children. It is important to realize that in many instances, the children are the carriers of the viruses. By protecting them, you can protect everyone.
While we’re there, participants can also receive a biometric health screening. Data collected from these screenings can provide an important baseline to shape future wellness programs company-wide, and these screenings provide employees with crucial information on current and potential medical issues allowing them to identify paths for disease prevention and improved health.
